ContractorMargin.com is built on a simple principle: we don't want your data. No login. No tracking cookies. No analytics built around identifying you.
What we collect
Nothing tied to you personally. The calculators run entirely in your browser — the numbers you enter never leave your device. We don't set tracking cookies, we don't use localStorage or sessionStorage, and we don't fingerprint your browser.
Server logs
Our hosting provider keeps standard web server logs (IP address, user agent, page requested, timestamp) for a limited time to detect abuse and keep the site online. These logs are not used to build a profile of you and are rotated on a short cycle.
Third-party resources
Pages on ContractorMargin.com do not load third-party analytics, tag managers, or advertising networks. No Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, no session replay tools.
Affiliate links
Some pages may include links to tools and services we think are genuinely useful. When those are affiliate links, they are clearly marked with rel="sponsored" and open in a new tab. Clicking does not transmit any calculator data — just a standard web referral.
Your rights

ContractorMargin.com is a business tool for working contractors. It is not directed at children under 13.
